Last year I enjoyed this area so much and the retreat at La Dogana last fall was so successful that I'm going back in 2020, to the neighboring "sister estate" of Montemelino! Join me for an amazing week immersed in the Tuscan/Umbrian region of Italy. We'll be staying by the shores of Lake Trasimeno amidst olive orchards and Sangiovese grape vineyards just before harvest time when Tuscany is full of giant, frangrant olives, the grapes are almost falling off the vines, the sunflowers are immense and plentiful, and the whole region is in it's slow bustle with all the wineries and shops in full season. This is my favorite time of year to be in this area, and I can't wait to share it with you all!
We will practice yoga together in the morning, enjoy the amazing farm-to-table gourmet food, sip local wine (if that's your thing), make gelato, enjoy the view of the orchards and lake from the large outdoor pool, hike or ride the trails (horseback optional), visit the local beautiful towns and villages with plenty of shopping and local culture. We will work the yoga and dining schedule together to allow plenty of free time to enjoy the estates and lake shore and visit the nearby gorgeous villages. This is a full retreat, you can decide to join in everything or do your own thing.

Join Todd Skoglund and Thomson Safaris (Travel & Leisure's 2019 winner of Best Safari Company) on this epic adventure through Tanzania. See amazing animals, visit local Masai villages, stay in Beautiful "camps" with incredible food and local coffee, enjoy a romantic Gin and Tonic while gazing out across an endless sunset, and practice yoga with a group of like-minded adventurous folks.
This trip is really a bucket list type of item, and I'm so thrilled to be able to offer it. The retreat is in the Spring of 2021, so you have over a year to save up and look for flights. Everything is included except the first flight(s) to get to Africa. Depending on which connecting city you fly through in Europe (assuming you're coming from NE USA) you can get some amazing deals, then the connecting flight down to Africa is fairly inexpensive.
The cost of the trip is $7900. Which includes all food, lodging, land and air transport once the journey begins. We will be beginning and ending just next to Zanzibar, so make some time at the beginning or end of your trip to explore this epically beautiful tropical paradise. The cost is higher than my typical retreat, but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and really worth it to do right. Thomson Safaris is a highly ethical company that cares about the environment and the local populace very much, I wouldn't be doing this otherwise. If you consider that staring November 2019, you have around 14-15 months to save up for the full price after your deposit.
Registration coming very soon!
