Ali is a Board Certified Structural Integrator. She holds a BA from Brown University and is a Registered Yoga Teacher, a graduate of David Vendetti’s 500-hour Myofascial Yoga Therapy program. After college, Ali spent 12 years as a software designer. While seeking a new career focused on healing, she discovered structural integration, and found tremendous relief from long-standing discomfort.
She considers herself a lifelong student of structure, function and the human spirit, and loves the challenge that each client brings to her table. Ali believes the power of structural integration to create lasting change extends beyond the freeing of fascial restriction. Through structural integration, we cultivate curiosity about our physical habits and the connection between body and mind. As the body reaches even tone through structural bodywork, this curiosity and resulting self-awareness allow the client to evolve into healthier and more comfortable patterns of posture and movement.

Christopher has studied and practices a variety of bodywork and meditation techniques aimed at rejuvenating the body and harmonizing the mind. He began exploring the connections between hands on therapy in relation to health and illness at an early age. These explorations allowed him to spend time studying with traditional medicine practitioners in Ghana, West Africa and to learn from local herbalists Costa Rica. Following these experiences, He received his formal massage education at the Cortiva Institute.
Christopher incorporates both western and traditional perspectives on health and wellness when working with clients in order to bring the body into a place of harmony and understanding with the mind and spirit. Christopher is also available for one on one or group meditation lessons.

My journey into the science and art of bodywork has been one of healing and discovery. The extent to which change can occur through sensitively trained human touch was unknown to me as a former athlete living with chronic pain from an incurable lumbar spine injury. I understand how pain and decreased mobility can affect the whole person - body, mind, and soul - and I now revere the potential for healing that bodywork can offer.
I am a graduate of Cortiva Institute, have studied Myofascial Yoga Therapy with David Vendetti, and trained in Reiki with Shelley Devine. These experiences have helped me to understand that deep tissue manipulation can be performed with sensitivity and compassion, and that profound transformation can flow from the lightest touch. My practice today focuses on effective communication with the client in order to achieve his or her goal, whether it be minor stress reduction or significant structural change.

I teach aerial yoga here at South Boston Yoga. After years of performing in the circus arts I became interested in how the human body moves, and why it might not always move the way we want or expect. This sent me on a long path exploring the endless mysteries of the body.
I am a certified Postural and Movement Analyst through Kinesis, and I am a graduate of David Vendetti's 500 hour Myofacial Yoga Therapy program. I am also certified in Thai Yoga Bodywork through Lotus Palm, and Erik Dalton's Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy. I have had the pleasure to investigate the wonders of the human body with Gil Hedley in his anatomy intensive and am currently studying Functional Movement Screen, Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral Therapy.
My passion is to assist people on their journey to a greater understanding of their own body and how they can inhabit it with greater freedom of movement and decreased pain. Sessions include postural analysis, light and deep touch hands-on work, and movement work. You can expect to walk away with movement exercises for your daily life activities in order to increase awareness, movement, stability, and integration.
"The body holds nothing against us, though we hold our bodies in all manner of ways against ourselves, our life, and our longings. When we really let our bodies go, they rise up, move freely, and pulse with joy." ~Gil Hedley, Integral Anatomy
